Hangover-induced fainting may be an indicator that it's time to slow down the drinking.

Just Another Angry Dwarf 28th Nov 2017, 4:26 PM edit delete reply
You can't get hungover if you don't get sober
Rocktopus 28th Nov 2017, 5:12 PM edit delete reply
How did that quote from Archer go?
"I'm scared that if I stop all at once, the cumulative hangover will literally kill me."
Lorne 28th Nov 2017, 4:41 PM edit delete reply
Or Overeacting?

Also me thinks this is no ordinary hangover-induced fainting spell.
Rocktopus 28th Nov 2017, 5:11 PM edit delete reply
Whoops, thanks. Fixed.

Well, that answers how this situation could get much worse.
Rocktopus 30th Nov 2017, 4:16 PM edit delete reply
Might as well go for the "bad situation" high score at this point and see if things can get even worse.

Time for a break it seems. Colleen got volunteered for 1st guardshift. Hope she remembered to bring food and water to wait out however long it is gonna take. Now it is the question: Who is more persitant Colleen or the hangover.
On the plus side maybe she can take the time to look through those barrels in the 'boring' room next door, if she can drag Randulf out of the corridor that is. I wouldn't recommend leaving him unobserved for a second.

I dunno, a hangover of this magnitude might be pretty stubborn...
padanew 29th Nov 2017, 12:35 AM edit delete reply
It may not be retreating it may be going for help.

Like how a really bad hangover goes out around noon to fetch Mr Migraine

Turns out, this otyugh is just the baby of the family living down in the nearby dungpile, and he's gone crying to his big momma. Momma is gonna get real angry at the audacity of dwarf-inflicted spanking on her little boy, and she's gonna come out with Big Bad Bruther and Nasty Old Papa while the dwarf is passed out, leaving the original offender defenseless. Yep, I think by the end of this, Colleen is gonna have another missing tooth... at least...
Rudofaux 29th Nov 2017, 10:14 PM edit delete reply
Colleen isn't missing any teeth. It's a gap.

What sort of Dwarf gets this hammered from a one night of drinking? I bet Halflings can drink him under the table.
Lurker 29th Nov 2017, 10:00 PM edit delete reply
Ah, but that depends on *what* he's been drinking...

Something tells me that hangover cure wasn't what he thought it was...

Perhaps a curated trap to play against the dwarf's knowledge.
Rocktopus 30th Nov 2017, 10:54 PM edit delete reply
Or perhaps Randulf is his own curated trap...

Ok, Randulf needs to score a fairly big browny point or two, before this round is over, or I see no reason for Colleen to continue working with him.
Rocktopus 1st Dec 2017, 11:15 PM edit delete reply
It seems there's a reason the recruitment office secretary avoids pairing him up with others.
chris-tar 18th Jan 2019, 1:10 AM edit delete reply
Lol. The garbage monster literally has a third leg!
Also, I hope Randulf doesn't have a cerebral hemorrhage...
MajorDZaster 8th Feb 2019, 9:46 PM edit delete reply
The wierd part is that the otyugh is the one time Randulf looked like he was wrong, but in fact he was right all along, as you'll see soon.
