Maybe they need to call it a day before it becomes 4. I see sharks.

The shark is in the tank above them, so the SHOULD be ok... right?

Sharks are not evil. They only want to give you hugs. With their mouths.

Sharks are sharks, yes neither good or evil, but ther perspective and bad day are notable.

Mouth hugs are the best hugs.

Remember to keep your equipment clean. Because nothing make metal rust faster then the blood of your enemies. (It really does btw.)

I always wondered what would happen if you put your bloody sword back in it's sheath like they do in video games.
DaveP. 31st Jan 2018, 12:51 PM edit delete reply
Blood is mostly water with some salt and minerals; not cleaning it off is a great way to ruin a blade, especially carbon steel (it'll also do a number on the leather the sheath is made of). Many years ago, my uncle wrecked a German officer's dagger he had taken as a souvenir that way.
jim 31st Jan 2018, 1:53 PM edit delete reply
Wait why did your uncle have blood on a dagger.
DaveP. 31st Jan 2018, 3:07 PM edit delete reply
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Bulge

When it became obvious that the Germans were breaking through, a lot of third-line troops (clerks, cooks, et cetera) were handed rifles and sent into the line. Most of these guys hadn't handled weapons since Basic Training.
My uncle was a tank mechanic (in the 3rd, IIRC).

Fall damage ftw?
Grim 31st Jan 2018, 3:54 AM edit delete reply
Always! I think fall damage is the number cause of PC death...only fair that an NPC monster take some now and then!
DaveP. 31st Jan 2018, 12:55 PM edit delete reply
Falling damage is #3.
Bad die rolls is #2.
And the #1 cause of PC mortality is...(drumroll please):
Their Own Bad Decisions.
Zimriel 31st Jan 2018, 5:49 AM edit delete reply
The fall damage may or may not have killed the 'Cube, but even if it didn't, it's the shark's problem now.

If the number gets high enough, he might actually have to acknowledge it.

Why do I think he sees all that life saving as an intrusion?

What's that line from the Incredibles?
"You didn't save my life, you ruined my death!"

Next time I get to play D&D I'm going to make a healer that keeps track of heals so I can bill the players!

"That was three small heals and bandage usage, lets see material cost, time used, dangerous environment charge......"

Book of care? Crushing medical bills for added realism? What alignment would that end up?
Sturzkampf 31st Jan 2018, 9:44 PM edit delete reply
Yeah? Well he's saved her life three times too, so they're even!

Rudofaux 2nd Feb 2018, 1:47 AM edit delete reply
The look on her face in the last panel. I've been on the receiving end of that look before.

And I'm sure he's very grateful.
Probably.
