I always pictured healing magic to feel really, really good.

What is that thing on the back of Ozwald's neck? And does he know it is there?

A gang tattoo

Marblegate must be prime real estate for heal-capable churches, temples, etc. I'm sure they rake in plenty of 'donations'. That smiling priest is probably smiling because he has the fattest bank account in town.

Sounds like the real medieval church

Always tip the healer and the barman: The one who heal you and the one who give you booze. T

Originally I thought that "snap" was his back snapping and thought "And that's game, right there..."
Rocktopus 14th Aug 2018, 4:59 PM edit delete reply
Oh, yeah I could see how you'd think that ! But no, it was the snapping of the grick's jaw

God loves you and whats you to heal.

I am surprised that the party did not have healing potions going in. Even if the alchemist forgot to prep them, I would still carry my own for just in case circumstances.

Assuming I could afford it of course!

It's almost like they didn't know what they were doing :P

The Highfather loves a cheerful giver.

Especially the generous ones. ;)

Generosity IS a virtue

Always played first aid before magic. Gain the benefits of both, since the magic has less to do when the parts are in tbe right places already.
Rocktopus 14th Aug 2018, 5:03 PM edit delete reply
But magic is so convenient!

I have always played a healer who later in life became a cleric healer. That way I could heal other players with normal healing agent then saved my major healing spell for emergency events.

Didn't know heal checks could restore hp in D&D
SuperJedi224 14th Aug 2018, 5:47 PM edit delete reply
RAW, it can do so no more than once per subject per day. At least under Pathfinder rules, anyway.

And it costs you two charges from a healing kit unless you're willing to accept a penalty on your check.
Matt 15th Aug 2018, 11:50 AM edit delete reply
Not sure how it's under other editions, but in D&D 5e, healing check by itself can't restore HP. However you can take a feat that allows you do that.
Guest 15th Aug 2018, 9:14 PM edit delete reply
In my world they do; I have it so a heal check restores 3 + (2x Constitution bonus) but you can only do it once a combat (or if the target gets critically hit). Gotta love homebrew :)

We need this kind of health care system in America!
