See's party member in fear. Goes through extensive checklist of details that most newbies would ignore and then die to, including checking for: numbness or other possible poisons, subtle mind altering spells, and the species of even the smallest creatures they might have brushed against.
Then proceeds to ignore trauma related issues. Truly a dwarf veteran.
Your way of capturing your characters personality is top tier.

With her being that scared she could have broken a bone and not know it. Falls don't have to be far to break a bone.

Meh, what's one broken bone in the grand scheme if things?

Does the DM have a huge evil grin on their face?

If he doesn't you're playing D&D wrong lol

I’m reminded of a scene between Superman and Batman (in the animated series I think). Superman was ranting about how some super villain in a previous encounter had taken over his mind and made him do lots of bad things.
Batman: “Get over it.”

Not quite as I remembered it, but thanks for finding it out. I suspect Randulf would accuse Batman of talking too much.

But are you sure there aren't other side-effects? Like a curse or a disease... or mind-control... or any number of cruel things DMs like to hoist on their players. :-D

No one pointed out the sigil thing on the wall, top right of one of the panels.
Lurker 19th Oct 2018, 8:43 PM edit delete reply
Good catch! It looks like the eye symbol that some time ago was shown to be some kind of scrying device monitored by an unpleasant character somewhere in the dungeon.
URBAM 22nd Oct 2018, 11:55 AM edit delete reply
Or maybe, those are the Scrying devices that the guild around Marblegate use to look after the heroes. Or in a better sense, "to know" when there are heroes in the place. Since this is a big shapeshifting dungeon (roguelike? maybe?), making maps are impossible, they use them as a way to sense when a adventurer pass a "checkpoint", and use this as a way to send them back to previous place.

Or something like this. I'm quite sure about the adventurer's guild .

RANDULF: So, let's see -- do you feel mind-controlled?

COLLEEN: uh ...

RANDULF: Right, that's good. Let's move forward then.
Rocktopus 22nd Oct 2018, 6:50 PM edit delete reply
Of course! A mind controlled person would immediately answer "no"!
