We'll be back to our regularly scheduled dungeon crawling next chapter.
But first, I need to script and do the layout for the next chapter. This process is really long and tedious, and takes about 30 hours of work. So I'll need to take a week off from posting pages to get it done. Next page update will be on Friday, October 5. If that seems like a long time away... don't worry! I'll make it up to you by posting pages much faster this chapter. My hope is to get it back up to 2 pages a week by late-October.

What is the difference between the green and white robes? I'm also noticing a different symbol. Are the white robes, perhaps lay servants instead of clerics?
It's just for variety; the different colors have no significant meaning.
Used old medieval illuminations and art for a lot of the design inspiration of this chapter, and I noticed that, since everything was made by hand, there was a lot of variety and very little in the ways of streamlined, assembly-line uniforms.
The blonde one is named Nora, the other is AilĂs :)
With a personality and hair like that, I'm surprised she's a member of the church. She looks too...cosmopolitan...to fit a nunnery or high church services. Then again, maybe her parents sent her there for that very reason? Also, I could be completely wrong and she's just gifted like Colleen, though it's hard to imagine why. Maybe we'll find out the reason for her being there in the next chapter?
So the wheels are in motion now for why Colleen is going to Marblegate. Looking forward to it! :)
And the irony of ironies? Colleen's horrible brothers ran off and joined the Duke's army anyway, because it sounded a lot more exciting than boring farming.
So how did Colleen meet Ozzie (sorry if I got the spelling wrong)? The seminary (or whatever it's called in this world) looks obviously gender-segregated.
Yes, we do need to cover how they met at some point. One point is that while Colleen was hardly kidnapped to Marblegate, the text does imply her going was heavily Ozzi' idea. But the current page hints it was her idea. Nothing controlling, but this does read more as she decided to go, whereas previous pages suggest she was recruited. Well, if action is moving back to Marblegate, we have some months to consider the point.
There is more to the story of how she arrived at Marblegate...
lets just say she made a short, six week stop at a different city to learn the basics of fighting from a certain group of warrior nuns.
We will get into it in a future chapter, after certain events unfold....
For 99% of the population, Marblegate is likely viewed as suicide. It may not be. There is the chance that the challenges start easy and become harder as you improve, but we, and the NPCs, know a lot of people don't come back. That is plenty of reason not to speak of such an "evil" place.
Your comics is fantastic, it's well thought, every panel gives glimps into world, characters or story, no space is wasted and it's all butifuly drawn and inked. It's a gem!
And is the difference between color and symbols is between a Priestess and a Nun to be?
And do you have names for those two characters? Just curious.

She's quite bubbly and a bit air-headed...
Maybe her parents wanted her to learn a little discipline...
I do love the variety of clothing for all the clerics. Wonderful costuming as always.
