Love the way you drew the clerk's glasses in panel 3 vs. the other panels. Nice solution to the perenial art problem of whether to draw glasses with eyes or not. :-P

I wish you'd show the paperpile she fetched getting smaller as time progresses rather then hide it on the other side of the panel.

No the paper pile gets larger over time not smaller.

A low level bureaucrat, apparently. She hasn't learned the in-to-out-basket epic feat yet.
That's where when you don't feel like being there anymore you drop your in basket into your out basket and go home.
Then wait for the mail the next day and see if any of it comes back.

This trick may not work if your boss is a sorcerer. :)

It only works for bosses....

Dungeon rule number one of surviving in marblegate, don't take food from strangers. Especially if they're Fae.

Is that an independently floating tower above the castle? Very cool. Love the purplish magical smoke as well.

Colleen looks like she was comfortable.

Having slept in that position a time or two, I can about guarantee she is not.
Oldarmourer 10th Mar 2020, 3:05 AM edit delete reply
Having slept in that position more times than I care to remember...
I can almost guarantee that she doesn't care ;)
She's young, she doesn't stiffen up like us old farts.

How do you weave such a complex story with detailed art so consistently? While it was weeks ago I remember this story beat like it was yesterday, excellent work.
Oldarmourer 11th Mar 2020, 3:50 PM edit delete reply
must be magic...he's a witch !! may we burn him ?
Guest 11th Mar 2020, 5:52 PM edit delete reply
Nooooo, no burning the author 😢.

But if it is magic, he might be an Arclight-educated wizard. Or a bard? Could also be a form of divine powers and insight. Multi-class? Bards would fit very well with story telling skills and knowledge, but while bards do well in those regards, they are not the only ones with prowess therein.

(of course, if he is a wizard that is not an elf nor Arclight-approved, he might up getting burned or similar either way... ).
Oldarmourer 11th Mar 2020, 7:43 PM edit delete reply
It's alright, after we burn him we'll dunk him in the pond, they cancel each other out ;)
Guest 12th Mar 2020, 11:51 PM edit delete reply
Very quickly dunk him in the pond after the very light, low-heat burn, r-right?
Sen 12th Mar 2020, 5:06 PM edit delete reply
