Actually, it was a good hit.

deep dungeon crawls present their own issues. Like the one below Waterdeep in the forgotten Realms. That one took us a half year to play out.

great poses here. i also really like seeing the old grizzled & drunk dwarf encouraging the younger adventurer. really endearing. it'll be all the more poignant later when he ditches her to go back to the bar. ha! seriously though, this is easily one of my favorite pages so far. well done.

Thank you! It was a really challenging page to get all the moving figures working together properly. Glad to hear it worked out.

I'll have to concur and say that the poses and action on this page is pretty well done. Nice to see a little teamwork!

Marblegate is a great way for adventurers to release pent up anger and stress!

Can I just say, I really like the way you visually show the difference in their damage levels.

Going back through the archives, I also like the difference in skill levels demonstrated here. Randulf looks like he's going for a big overhead axe swing but instead does a quick reversal of his weapon (to hit with the poll) and a harder-to-track swing. Colleen, meanwhile, has a rather obvious windup for her attack. In GURPS terms, Randulf is using a Deceptive Attack (possibly Defensive, as he looks to recover quickly), while Colleen is using a Telegraphic Attack (possibly All-Out, although her keeping her hand in position to block with her non-existent buckler indicates against that).
