No metal? Suddenly going vegan and taking that druid girl with you doesn't seem like such a bad idea.

I'm looking forward to seeing the outcome.

Glad to hear that!

Grey Garou
This is where a stone ax would come in handy.

If you can dive in, and manage to activate the tatoos, problem solved!

Gonna need an Acrobatics check on that one

If that were me, I'd gather up all the metal thing I could from the immediate dungeon area and toss them in the hole to act like chaff. Or a shotgun blast, depending on how powerful that magnet is.

Ideally, I'd push in like... a metal bench, or something similarly hard to avoid.

Oh, wait! Just go sweep up all those daggers from the trap room! See how you jerks like your big magnet now!

But what about her rotund guide? Party loyalty is somewhat strong here.

Time to use the power of the Divine to turn some bones to dust. Then bluff the living!
Rocktopus 29th Jul 2017, 1:45 PM edit delete reply
Would be nice, but she's all out of Divine magic for the day after the dagger room incident.

Rule 1 of dungeoneering
Always have alternative weapons on you. Like bronze. Bonus: Bronze doesn't rust.
Alex Groggett 30th Nov 2018, 6:11 AM edit delete reply
Does that mean Rust Monsters won’t eat Bronze?

Now hold the phone here. Thay cant be monsters I smell an elf, halfling and a dwarf.
These could potentionaly be lost adventurers who resided to canibalism and one of them is a necromancer.
Rocktopus 29th Jul 2017, 1:43 PM edit delete reply
Good guess! But actually they are monsters called Dark Creepers, which is a classic D&D monster race.
John190 30th Jul 2017, 2:16 PM edit delete reply
Oh even better. I remember my friend calling them shadow goblins for their maners of rogue or a thief and their stealth.

Maybe casting a lot more light on the scene might help? As that is the only spell she can still use that day. (Should have made camp once they were out instead off pressing on to reach the second level. Waterfall room seemed to be not that bad a place for that either - fresh water at least not sure, if it would have been easy to defend, but a second exit is always good if retreat becomes neccessary.)
Anyway Aside from the skeletons - who'd probably need commands to abandon their currenbt task of holding the trap open, the other opponents look like they might not like it all bright with those cowls.

And thinking about it she could throw that mace at one opponent, the magnetic attraction would surely turn it into a projectile increasing its damage. Concerning non magnetic weapons, she just got herself a bag of goldcoins. not that easy to handle but it can be used as a blackjack.

Necromancers... Why did it have to be Necromancers?

And THAT'S why leather armour is so useful.
Plus, it's great for sneaking (puts on sunglasses) 'cuz it's literally made of hide.
