Looks like his share of the loot already got completely liquefied.

He probably hasn't spent it all yet. That would imply he has gone into the dungeon about 10,000 times [Go in, take out loot, drink it up that night, and then go in again the next day.] And while his skills are notable, we see him almost killed once and wounded another time. No chance he has ventured that often without getting killed.
The clerk at the job center also argues it takes several days to drink up a typical haul. He is last on her list, some of which appear to have been around for some time, and so there have been times when he was unable to get partners for notable periods. Given he is still drunk when they meet, he presumably still has not yet managed to drink all his treasure.
Now it is likely that we are currently in his "bedroom" and the bar lets him store a chest with his adventuring equipment. And he presumably runs a tab at the bar so he doesn't have to rush into the dungeon any time he starts to sober up.

When people get really obese, their stomach starts to fold underneath the belly button. I might have exaggerated a bit too much in this page, though.

Beer and ale are very cheap even in the real world. Most brewery charge way to much nowadays for there product. In ancient times most people drank because it was safer then drinking water. Also, the alcohol content of most of the beer was lower then most drink today. Also, a form of beer would have been a "small beer" or a beer made from the remains of a earlier run of beer it would not have had a large amount of alcohol in it.

There's something a bit sad seeing Randulf sleeping on the side of the street. Maybe he needs a girl with a good head on her shoulders to straighten him up and sort him out.

He's a dwarf. According to the standard stereotype, he needs a girl who can put a good head on a mug of beer.

What I find intriguing is the structure behind Randulf. It looks like a solar panel array you find over some parking areas, but made of wood.

That's a little wood roof so that firewood doesn't get rained on as hard

Scarcity. The less scarce something is, even if its gold, the less its worth...
