And thus ends the first day of our story. Wow, it's crazy to think that one day in the story has taken up one year of my life, but I'm glad I finally did it.
We're coming up to the 1 year anniversary of Marblegate on November 11th, and 100 pages. Still a lot more pages to go in chapter 3; and a lot more chapters before the story ends.
Thanks to everyone who's supported me thus far! Just a reminder that you can vote for Marblegate on Topwebcomics:

It really helps bring new readers in if I get ranked high enough.
Voted. You may want to make an special image to show when you vote. That way we will want to vote more often. All the other cool artists are doing that.
Thought about it, but I'm not sure what to do. Most artists do pin ups or NSFW art as voting incentive, but I don't really like doing that kind of art.
Doesn't have to be racy or NSFW it could just be artwork that good or artwork that you have decided not to use but is to good to delete. Artwork could also be used to world build.
You could put up some pics of the monsters in Marblegate with some description text?
A bit like something an adventurer would doodle into their journal.
Would help with the worldbuilding too.
And we readers could speculate some how Colleen and Randulf could fight them with their current equipment and spells.
Bet you already have some character studies that you have done. There you go, work you already did. Just sketches would be great. Well off to vote anyway so I can get you in the first 100 so it is easier for me!
Thank you, that was one of my hopes. Faith is usually used in fiction as a means to make people seem crazy, insidious or stupid.
I grew up in church and had a really positive experience with it all through my childhood. Because of that, I never really liked how negatively my community is portrayed in most fiction. I swear some people act like we meet together on Sunday to scream about people we apparently hate, burn science textbooks and plot world-domination.
With Colleen, I wanted to have a portrayal of a religious character with Christian themes that were positive, without it being intrusive or preachy.
Some artists do them really frequently, but others rarely do any.

It's a big Internet and I'm not saying there's no place for, say, Oglaf; but I am glad there's still a place for a comic like this one.
