Hey everyone! Some of you have been asking if I have a Patreon. I do now!

Even if you choose not to become a Patreon, you can still go there to check out a special video I made for my Patreon page.

It's going to take a bit to set up, but I plan on getting more rewards added as time goes on. Thanks everyone who reads and supports Marblegate!
I'm getting closer and closer to my dream of making this comic my full-time job!

... Where did all his stuff go? Does he stash it somewhere and then just get too drunk to go back there, or does he have to buy a whole new compliment of gear each time he adventures?

Oh, maybe it's a rental deal and he just turns it in before his nightly bender.

He keeps it at the storage bank like colleen. She went there after selling things in the market district, he went straight there. That's why they weren't there together.

This may be a bit late, but happy almost (Marblegate) anniversary. Your work is amazing as always and you've got my vote.

Thanks! Marblegate is 1 year old on November 11th!

He almost got her name right. That is something?

So close, yet so far...

So excited for the Patreon! I think I might be the first patron, which is kind of awesome.

You might want to double check the last tier, because I think raffles are against Patreon ToS.

Are they? Well, I'll look into it.
Thank you so much for supporting my work!
Rocktopus 8th Oct 2017, 3:02 AM edit delete reply
I just changed the patreon rewards and added some. Thanks for the heads up!
Opieus 8th Oct 2017, 5:11 AM edit delete reply
No problem. Didn't want you getting in trouble with Patreon.

Hope we can hit that second goal! :-P

It seems perfectly plausible to me.

I was meaning to ask, how do people measure time in this world?
I mean outside it is one thing looking at the sun and the stars, most people would be able to tell I guess.
But what when they go into Marblegate - or just stay in a basement with no window?
Burn-down-time of candles and torches?
Sand, water or flower clocks?
Magical time keeping trinkets (judgemental or otherwise)?
I mean I can see some rich nobles or mages having paintings on the wall that switch the picture around every half hour or something the like.
So I was wondering how Colleen knew they were in Marblegate just for a single (or well half a) day.
For all we know time could flow differently within within Marblegate too. But without a reliable comparison who could tell?
Rocktopus 8th Oct 2017, 2:57 PM edit delete reply
I haven't gotten into it, but they do have magical means of telling exact time.
I'll get into it later in the future, just know for now that they know time by the hours.

Nice detail that 'someone' put that shirt over his back while he was sleeping.

I bet Judgemental timepieces are all the rage. A budget pocket watch: Insult and time on demand.
Worstcase 8th Oct 2017, 5:28 PM edit delete reply
Watch: "You moron are 5 1/2 seconds too late for your visit at the pawnbroker. Bet your sword was already sold off. What are you gonna pick your nose with now?"
Worstcase 8th Oct 2017, 5:35 PM edit delete reply
And now imagine that lovely timepiece starting its rant while you are in the dungeon, trying to sneak by a sleeping dragon or the like x_x

(Sorry about the double post.)

Great armor details. I admire your chainmail drawing patience and ability.
Rocktopus 23rd Oct 2017, 6:34 PM edit delete reply
Thanks, I have intense patience for chain mail, for some reason. It's cathartic drawing each little link.

I have a nocturnal waking and sleeping cycle similar to Randulf.
